Missionary Support
Austin Chinese Church supports the missionaries and seminary students in the following organizations and
institutions through financial contributions to the ACC Missions fund:
Missionaries Among Us (MAU) Goal
The goal of the ACC Missionaries Among Us program is to adopt missionaries, seminary or intern students sponsored
by ACC in fellowships and small groups so that we not only assist their financial needs, but also partner with them
in prayer and build up fellowship relationship with them. Through this grass roots level program, groups of
believers can become more aware of the missionaries' needs and provide care and prayer support for them. It also
helps facilitate possible mission trips to the adopted missionary's area of ministry.
How is this done?
One person from each small group is designated as the MAU coordinator. This person will be the primary MAU driver
and point of contact for the group's missionary. We also encourage having another person in the small group to back
him/her up.
Suggested activities
• Monthly correspondence from small group to missionary
• Regular sharing and prayer for the missionary in the small group
• Semi-annual care packages
• Host the missionary while he/she is on furlough
• Update ACC Missions Committee about the missionary's specific needs
